reselling from a grey dealer

I bought a 114270 from a grey dealer, and am considering selling it to get a SubC.... is it worth less b/c I got it from a grey dealer?

I wouldn't say it was worth any less than current market value

It's worth what its worth based on condition, age, box, papers, etc, IMO, not origin

No, and sometimes the same grey dealer will buy it back from you. I have done this a few times and even made some profit..

Good luck!

As others have said, it doesn't matter where you buy it

I believe this is right. As the worth of any watch will be based on condition,age,etc.. The origin isn't totally hold any importance but some people would want to know where it came from. So,it's a NO.

If you think it's worthless, I'll take it off your hands, but I'll charge you a fee for the hassle!

if i was buying a pre-owned and one came from a ad and one from a gray i dont think i would care. I would pick the one that was newer and in better condition.

Unless being under Rolex warranty was still a possibility and one had papers and the other one had a nice Grey COA....

And mainly what came with the watch. . . Mainly original boxes and papers/card warranty because despite what some will tell you until they die, boxes and papers/card matter to many potential buyers:)

Flipping your watch after short ownership is all about being happy with what you have, not about making a few coins. Win or lose a few bucks, don't fret about it.

Flipping is for the emotional value, not financial.

Good luck whatever you choose to do !
