First post, first vintage Rolex
Hey All
Introductions first - My name is Morten and I am from Denmark. I have been a passionate watchnut for a couple of years now and I've always preferred Rolex over any other brand. I've been through a lot of brands, but I always go back to Rolex. I've had all the sportsmodels from Rolex, and some of them several times over the years. One watch has stuck with me though. My trusted V-series Sea-Dweller. Vintage didnt really catch my eye till recently. Coincedentally one of my usual sellers had a 1973 Red Sub for sale - Moreover it was a complete set, including original certificate, 2x servicepapers, box, chronometer translation, booklets, anchor and hangtag! The price was reasonable so I jumped on it. Now dont expect a mint condition watch. The watch has been used, it IS polished, the tritium pearl has been knocked off at some point and the bracelet that came with it was completely DONE. But the watch itself has an abundance of charm, matching dial and hands and most importantly since the watch has been used and worn, I can do the same without worrying too much about it. Now for the pictures... Enjoy you saturday ladys and gentlemen /Morten |
