Is it safe to wear my Rolex>>>>>

when I post on forums?

Or do I need to pad my keyboard and desk to prevent scratching?

What if the pads scratch your watch? Do you have pads' pads?

Every time I read "is it safe" threads I think about Lawrence Olivier in The Marathon Man asking that question over and over

Are you worried about your keyboard and desk being scratched?

Never, ever, remove a Rolex watch from its protective case.

It's okay to have a look once in a while, but that's it.

i wouldn't even look at it. the light reflecting off our retinas back at the watch could potentially have harmful effects.

You know on a serious note I think it takes on average a new owner two months to not care about scratches anymore. I know I'm over it.

i suppose i'm fortunate. the day i purchased my first rolex i had decided right then and there that i would not fear scratches and dings, and that a watch was meant to be worn not worshiped. i think i've saved myself a lot of stress from that mentality over the years.

I just leave mine in the box in my safe. That way I know it will stay perfect at all times.

It is not like I bought my watches to wear.

I never feel like I really own something until it gets that first ding, dent, or scratch.

At that point, whatever it is, is truly unique and totally mine.
