I am actually struggling to find good wrist shots for the IWC aquatimer. Any pics would be much appreciated. I live in MN and I personally have not seen one in person yet however I am thinking about adding this watch to my collection. I already own the IWC Portuguese Auto 5001-07 and I am looking for a nice casual/sporty watch. Thanks!

This is what I managed to capture wif my Samsung Tab (pic quality taken wif this Tab is very bad compared to iphone or my previous Samsung Galaxy Note) - after many attempts..My apologies for the poor quality pic & hope this helps more or less...
In Singapore, there're many of this Galapagos edition up for sale, both preowned or NIB, & it seems like they're not moving fast, wonder why...Anyway, I've had this for 2 days now & love it - very comfortable to wear, inconspicuous, very black, & sporty looking for sure, at the same time it looks plasticky & inexpensive, which is partly why i chose this (I had the black & yellow dial chrono several months ago but somehow just didnt really like it with it's blingey look) |

I'm gonna have to disagree with you here; the Galapagos is all business, with nothing about it looking or feeling cheap or "plasticky". What's more, the durable vulcanized rubber coating feels like nothing else out there-- silky and luxurious, which is underscored by the solid weight of the steel case underneath.
I may own some more conventionally desirable pieces from the likes of AP, JLC, Panerai, Rolex, and yes, even IWC (might have a perpetual calendar lurking around somewhere...), yet this is the watch I reach for the most. Love it. Regards, Adam |

I really like the current Aquatimer series but I love the older ones. This is one my favorite watches that I ever owned
Unfortunately the mechanics were a bit too complex and fragile, so I decided to move on. For anyone saying that the Aquatimer doesn't look classy - look at the image below (not mine) and try to repeat that sentance |
