I couldn't help it - White Explorer II
I'm taking in the huge NATO bug, seriously huge.
I bought a vintage Omega Speedmaster before but since it was black in dial it couldn't be matched with brighter coloured NATO straps - which sometimes I like to wear. So I sourced for a preowned white Polar EXP II, and I specifically wanted the one with lug holes so it's easier for me to switch and change straps if I wanted to (instead of just NATO). And voila... I matched it with my wotancraft vintage NATO - and I loved it instantly. It went VERY well with my other bright cheerful NATO straps, and I wish I bought this one sooner. Sorry for the bad resolution iPhone pic...

Yes it does Joe! and I think that's how an "explorer" watch should look like! LOL

I'm surprised, I find that the Speedy is probably the most versatile watch ever made, with respect to strap choices.

That looks outstanding. Question: does a leather nato need to be worn on the snug side, like a conventional nato?

I would like to see some wrist shots. Specifically from the side -- how it sits on the wrist at the case and the buckle. Do you actually find it comfortable for long wear periods? Thanks!
