Progression of an illness!!!
Well I have always been into collecting something or many things including watches. Never really into Rolex although a sub has always been a favourite since childhood but I don’t dive so didn’t see the point. Had the opportunity to score a used well priced DJ last year and needed a daily as the old Tag F1 was flogged from never leaving my wrist for many years. When I got this DJ the quality really blew me away... That’s when it all started!! Although I wear 34mm vintage and smaller the size was a bit small on my 7.5 wrist for a daily modern watch. The hunt began and all finished when they released the DJ11 in a smooth bezel. I was even more blown away with this watch... I didn’t consider the sub as it was to be a daily semi formal work thing and as stated I don’t dive so I didn’t even look at it. The collecting obsession kept niggling away….. Anyway you know the rest….. And I thought the DJ was great!! Where will it all end…?? Hopefully not in divorce!!! Hope you enjoy the pics…… Barry

That's an interesting look for the DJ - never came across it.

Nice watches, Barry! Welcome to the forum - and - it won't end. If there is a cure, we are probably not the group that will discover it!

I love the way those two watches are pictured together! Nice little exploration of the black dial.

Great pair, Congrats.
I don't tend to look at it as an ilness, but as a passion for fine timepieces. If handled properly, something I can enjoy immensely for a long time to come.

Thanks Dan... No not an illness unless it starts to adversely affects ones life!! More of a pun really relating to my Mental Health work background... Probably more like obsession but as you state an immensely enjoyable one...
