Looking for a yachtmaster...how do these look guys? And some questions??
I'm looking for a yachtmaster, I thought I would check in with the experts before I make any purchases. I would appreciate it if you guys could look these over...my biggest question is are they all original?? Thanks so much guys!
http://www.bobswatches.com/mens-used...num-16622.html http://www.bobswatches.com/used-role...tch-16622.html Midsize http://www.bobswatches.com/used-role...ch-168623.html http://www.bobswatches.com/used-role...ch-168623.html A few questions... Did yachtmasters always have solid center links on the bracelets? If not what year/serial did they start making the center link solid? Did they every make a 168623 or a 16623 with a platinum dial? So if iv done my research correctly they started rolexrolexrolex inscription around the dial in the z series serial numbers so every m serial numbered case should have the rolexrolexrolex inscription?? What's the difference between the 3135 movement and the 2235 besides the size? Any advantages for one over the other? Thanks in advance guys appreciate all your help!! |

Are you a male or female, sorry for the personal question, but if you are a male, i do not think a midsize is appropriate unless you are a small frame, just my thoughts, go the platnuim full size version, all watches shown look authentic but a bit overpriced.

I have the two-tone Yachtmaster, but if I had it to do over - platinum all the way. In fact, I'm seriously thinking about selling my two tone and going for a platinum.

If it's a YM you want - go with the Platinum dial full size.
I predict you won't regret it.

I have a TT YM full size. Get the bigger watch if you can swing it.
Watch out for a too shiny a dial that can make reading the date a challenge. Mine:

Thank you guys so much for your input. To crowncollection I am a male, I'm about 5'9 and 150lbs so I'm not too big of a guy. I have pretty small wrists and iv been pondering both so I went to try on a couple today. The the full size seemed pretty big on me and they didn't have a midsize to try on. The bezel and the bracelet wouldn't look too out of place on my wrist but I think the bezel size compared to the dial size looks too much like a womans watch. If I can swing it I think ill go with the full size platinum model. Is there any way to tell if those are all original? That is a lot of money for me to spend and I would like to know the watch I'm buying came from the factory that was and parts weren't switched around ect. I wouldn't mind finding one with the box and papers either.

Thanks, I probably will go with the full size...everyone keeps pointing me in that direction and I am too unsure of the midsize.

The midsize is nice when you look at it because is "cute" (like small children´s shoes), but once you put it on your wrist it gets "lost", so to speak.

LOL i'm a female and your height and am debating this very same question- midsize or fullsize. Did you make a decision yet? Do any of you have opinions or more comments re your wives and their midsize vs large? I'm concerned large will be absurd but do love the chunkier look. But, trying to consider that i might be currently swayed by trends. Perhaps midsize is way to go...

I'll definitely go with the full size now. I can't imagine a full size on a woman though...
