AP Servicing Question

When you service your AP are you required to provide any documents? Or is the watch itself fine?

I'm looking to jump into a 15300 but it doesn't come with any box or papers.
The watch was originally sold by DavidSW whose placed alot of RO's on the wrists of people on this form so that alone is good enough for me.

Thanks for your input!

You shouldn't have any problem getting it serviced down the road. You can register the watch on AP's website.

For warranty work, you need the book. Outside of warranty, just the watch.

Good point on the warranty - wasn't thinking of that - including that third-year extension, which is nice to have and requires the sticker in the book.

Unless you've got the warranty number, the answer is NO.

IIRC it's recommended about every 5yrs. I check mine regularly for signs of problems and will send it in if any.

Accuracy and power reserve would be the first for me.

Thomas is right. I check my watches on my timegrapher and look at rate/amplitude/error.
