This or this?

I'm not totally serious, because I make my own decisions.

Which change by the day, or hour depending on what is happening in my life.

But WG DD2 Romans. Or:

...A car...really Seth? I didn't think you were like that...

Why buy a car when you can get a watch...

Well they're completely two different things. When you compare a car to a watch, the car seems much larger. In fact huge compared to some watch. Depending on how vast your collection already is, I 'd probably say go for the Viper. I've always found that that car isn't outdated compared to other automobiles from a decade ago.

It would be a great acquisition. Where I come from you usually don't see one of those, neither do I see a DD2. However when thinking about it I find that you'll have a hard time buying a watch when you could have that red hot beauty.

Just my thoughts though...

Very well thought out. Thank you.

Really really want the DD. but have very nice, if not small watch collection.

That car on the other hand is quite unique.

The insurance will be a lot less expensive on the DD2. A LOT!

I understand Seth (although I'm not a car enthusiast myself), I think it would depend on what cars and watches you have right now though. If you need or really want a car right now and have a few watches then it's a no-brainer to me, if you have a good vehicle that you enjoy and if the Viper has a chance of staying more in your driveway than on the road I'd go with the Day-Date!

Dude. Ur so insightful it's almost scary.

I love my jeep. Love.

And for certain the viper would be mostly asleep in the garage. No doubt.

Your making this harder on me Carl.

I'd suck it up and go for DD platinum or a Patek 5980. Done.

Viper is nice, but there's a new one around the corner and I'm not a fan of putting a lot of money on a 2nd string model.

I agree with this.

Plus the car is only going to depreciate in value as you drive it. The watch will at least hold its value and probably in increase over the years. You will probably use the watch more so I would go with it if it was me.

That is a very bada$$ looking Viper! Like you I am a car and watch guy. Obviously with the car the after purchase expenses are much higher (maintenance, insurance, etc) but in my case i'd get more enjoyment out of going on awesome weekend drives and just listening to the big muscly v10 over having a WG DD. Just my .02c coming from a guy who absolutely loves cars and watches.

To be honest I love cars as much as watches but I'd likely get an older car like an MG or Triumph. Those older cars may be short on power but they feel very spirited. Best of all you won't loose much if anything from depreciation. Otherwise I'd get the watch.

I'd go for the DD, if I had more options I'd probably pick something else at that price range.

I'd go after the DDII over the Viper. Love wearing mine daily and it's more fun than a Viper to me. This coming from a guy with a Corvette.

Hard choice, very nice car, but I would rather go for a DD Platty, innsurance cheaper, maintenance cheaper, gas etc... I have a BMW Z3 convertible, I'm happy with that for now...

DD. that car will depreciate a lot quicker! But then again I'm not a car guy. Best.

I have no advice for you. I'm going through the same thought process between another watch or a Harley. I would like another watch but miss having a bike....

Sound advice. My guess is that Vipers spend most of their days locked up in a garage.

VIPER!!!

Absolutely. I'm a die hard car guy. I'm not a huge fan of American cars, but the Viper has always been the exception to that rule.
