This is my sauna Over the years, we've been joined by many friends for a sauna followed by a roll in the snow. Lately, it's been just Mrs. Chitwood and me, but oddly enough, she won't allow photos for some reason.

In reality, a metal watch gets far too hot in a 170 degree sauna to comfortably wear.

Haven't been to a sauna for 20+ years. Last time I saw my old college professor. Not too keen on reliving that experience. I don't know...old fat naked men sweating in a non-hygienic and closed-in environment sounds good and all. But really it's my asthma that keeps me out that environment.

I used to have to spend hours in the sauna to make the weight when I was a jockey. 6'3" and jockey don't mix well so I had to sweat out pounds before each ride... Believe me you wouldn't have wanted any pics of 10 National Hunt jockeys in a wooden box!

Since those days I've had a few more pleasant saunas with the L-HG... For some reason the camera got a bit steamed up so no pics I'm afraid!

Two years ago with my girlfriend, she got ourselves a good deal on a spa thingy in which they had that very, very small sauna, a jacuzzi and masseuses...

Worst thing is, I hate massages! She literally had to insist to get me to accept. The sauna and jacuzzi parts were nice but I couldn't help but jumping whenever the woman wanted to touch my body...

...Indeed, I could have worded this differently but you were supposed to understand what I meant!

I mean, when you go get a massage you get touched...it's a physical contact...oh, heck, whatever!

Yes, love the dry sauna but not the ones with lots of steam.
