What is the Cheesiest song you ever heard??

Here is mine. Leader of the Pack by the Shangri-Las from 1964. It is the ultimate of Cheese and every-time I hear it, it brings a smile to my face. I do not know why but I love the lyrics.

The motorcycle revving, the Look Out! Look Out! Look Out!

Give it a watch and tell me yours. My other vote is J Frank Wilson's One Last Kiss also from 1964 I think. Great year for Teen Tragedy songs.

I'm Not Strange

Keith Sykes
Hey, I'm not strange, I'm just like you
I like to do what normal people do
I comb my face and shave my hair
And keep a live chicken in my underwear
Chorus:
I'm not strange, I'm just like you
We're not strange, We're just like you
I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not strange
I'm not strange, I'm just like you
I've got the very same frustrations too
You should have seen me at the bar last night
I like 50 cents get me just right
Chorus
I'm a real good guy, now that's no shit
'Bout half the time I'm full of it
I like to smoke and drink and have my fun
And see how fast my car will run
Chorus
I don't start anything that I can't end
You know I even got married to my girlfriend
In the morning I like bacon and eggs
And I've got balls between my legs

I see and raise, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqQRs81ij2E

(warning brief outburst of profanity at very end)

and of course any time Conway Twitty breaks in on a Family Guy episode.

You are right...Terry Jacks "Seasons in the Sun" may arguably be the WORST song ever....and they played it to "death" in the early '70's...I remember (still scarred from the experience).

We just have an appreciation for the old classics. No offense to Beyonce. She'll have her moment in 20 years.

any one of hundreds of POS gimmick 'songs' from the UK in the 70s/80s. Funky gibbons, chickens, ducks and sad old freaks with ventriloquist dummies, grand-dad songs, Lowry songs - the nauseating list is relentless.
