decisions, decision, decisions....

OK, as some of you may know, I have been debating going pretty big for my next purchase. I am trying to really have a collection and want the diversity....

In the past, it has always been a search for the perfect daily watch. This has proven unrealistic, and costly.

So I was looking at the WG DD2. It is awesome. But not all that much different from my GMT2C. Yes, I know it is different, but with the color tone and all that, there is much similar between the two.

I have been looking at Patek, AP and Breguet. I have looked at tons of watches. I keep coming back to Rolex. I just like Rolex. What can I say?

I went back to my AD tonight just to take a look. I figure, I might as well explore all the options. I had David hold off on the actual ordering of the DD2 so I could look and think.

Tonight I found the watch pictured below. I felt that it was awesome and looked amazing, and while yes showy, not nearly as blingy as I would imagine. And for me, super duper different (and it has lume). No, it is not fly under the radar....and no, it is not something I would wear every single day. BUT, while I felt in the past I could not pull it off, I am changing my tune (i sometimes do that).

I tend to make decisions very quickly. In some regards this has hurt me...in others it has help me quite a bit. I am moving slow on this....slow for me. I think this might be the one. I am waiting until the morning to decide as David will look for what is available then......but in the meantime, I figured I would post a pic for you all.

The concentric dial is interesting and not as common.

Go for it! It's a wonderful watch!

Post pics WHEN you get it ;)

always open to suggestions and greatly appreciate them....

for me though, Romans and Arabic are a complete toss up. i am not a fan of the sticks.

AND, because the Arabic as the Lume, i am all over it. it makes it very little competition.

truly, to me they are just about equal until you add the Lume. add Lume and it is all over.

the decision, at this point, is less about the dial and more about the color of the gold.

Dude, I tried on the chocolate sky-dweller this weekend. It was a spiritual experience. If I were you I would be looking at one of those.

I am like his very own cheering section........

No joke, I don't buy anywhere else......

There are always outside situations and I did recently come across a deal I could not pass up, but if it is a standard buy. There is no one else.

i have to admit, my father had a big influence on this one. word for word text from him tonight:

(after a ton of pictures being sent to him for his opinion) This one I love, when you get tired of it, I want it.

I would wait to make a decision. Come back to it after a week or so and then I think you will be clear enough to get what you really want the first time around. I am going through the same situation as I'm thinking of adding a platinum day-date ii and keep going back and forth on the dial choice.

I like the Arabic numbers. Gives it a very modern feel if that's what you're looking for. The lume's numbers look cool as well.

There's something about the concentric white dial that I love. And the arabics are very nice, modern as Mike mentioned, yet still completely classic with the extra touch of the lume, which you love. All good points in my book.

I can't tell with the lighting. Is it still WG or is this one YG?

As has been said, take the time and make the right choice. Good luck!

YG is the only way to go with the DD. And you have mentioned you WANT lume. I believe this is a no brainer. And I think the sporty-ness of it would make it a daily wearer (if there is such a thing with this watch addiction).
