Serpico y Laino
Recently, I noted several vintage watches stressing that they are Serpico y Laino watches. I know about the history of this Venezuelan jewelry store and I also know about the practice of jewelry store of printing their name on the dial. However, I was wondering if watches with the jewelry's name on the dial - in particular Serpico y Laino - are more collectible than other vintage watches.
Thanks, Boris |

Just another facet to a very heavily collected group.
I'm not sure that s&l watches are any more highly Sought after than their non printed counterparts. I'm sure someone else will chime in. |

No more so than Tiffany etc. I would not pay a premium for Serpico or Tiffany for that matter.

Yes for sports models and solid gold models (especially DD). Not really for any other model.

Serpico Y Laino has a really cool history. If you search I'm sure you can find an excellent write-up on one of the forums.
