36 mm Explorer I Alert !
Just stopped by Goldstein, Swank & Gordon in Marlborough MA tonight to see what I could see. Nice selection of Celloni's and all 3 Milgauss dials in stock.
Almost went for this: Thy have a new 114270 36mm Explorer I. No longer made and hard to find at an AD. They want the original MSRP of $5,050. no discount. I think if they would have moved I would have bought. So it's there if this is what you seek. Ask for Dolores, friendly, hands-on, very knowledgable, been there 15 years. |

Like - new examples can be found here for much less than that. I can't see paying full retail for a new watch that becomes used the second I pull off the stickers. Probably why I never buy new cars either.

Yes, I should have just said thanks for the tip - clearly you meant your post to alert those who'd want one brand new.

One of my favourite models.
However, if I bought one I'm not sure if I'd go for the 36mm or 39mm. I'd have to try one on in the flesh. Maybe one day, lottery numbers permitting. |

I love mine - comfortable and goes with everything, and stealthy. I think the 36mm is a better size for this design but I'm not a fan of supersizing generally.

Was at the same AD last month looking at their 216570. Asked for a discount with no luck. It was their lost. Found one here for less. They did have a nice display.

It's still there for a reason, and MSRP is it.
$4250-4500 would be nice - was that what you hoped for?
