Explorer II 2003

Hi all
OK, finally got my first Rolex after months of checking out various models on the net and in shops, and screwing up the courage to part with the $ - pix below. Really great dealing with Tony G of SDwatches - many thanks Tony. Ordered last Friday 15 Feb, arrived HK this Wed 20 Feb 09:30 (all HK time) as described and in pristine condition with box and all papers.
Smaller watch than I expected, but (IMO) a more comfortable size than the newer models, which I tried on.
Pretty much the zenith of my (relatively) low-cost collection where the next most expensive watch is around a tenth of the Rolex price.

Congrats!

You won't be concerned about how much it costs once you start wearing it.

Many thanks to all for your kind words - much appreciated.
Agree the upfront $ cost is fading from memory but had a gentle reminder when I put it in for Rolex service, yesterday. But should be worth all in the longer run.

One of my favorites, and something of an under-the-radar sport model. One of the pluses is how well it fits on the wrist.

Congrats Spiceballs! Looks like a pristine example, and I'm thinking lug holes and SEL's, it doesn't get any better in a 16570!
