This or That: Explorer II polar or IWC 5004?

Hello trying to decide between the 42mm polar explorer 2 and the big pilot. Anyone here own both of these at one time or another?
I have tried both of these on my wrist and love both but can only afford one :)
Thanks for your thoughts

I also like IWC, but I think that in terms of robustness nothing can beat Rolex as a top brand watch and I do like piece of mind when spending £.

I'd rather have the BP in this case.
