Hey guys!

Fist off let me introduce myself as I'm new to this forum! I just got my fathers first datejust handed down to me as he eventually moved on to the yacht master. I currently wear a bell and Ross phantom crono as my daily watch but also have a tag heuer formula 1 although I haven't worn it in years.

My question in regards to the datejust is the fitment of a custom leather strap. I am considering having the strap fit within the outside of the lugs giving the strap an additional 1/8 of an inch of taper into the original deployment clasp. The strap will be lightly padded with charcoal stitching and burnished edges. I will attach a link below for color/style. My concern is that the strap will be a bit much for the datejust as it does not have that avaition or submariner asthetic to it. I'd like to take the watch up a notch in masculinity but once again fear overdoing it. I believe super b makes a similar rubber strap for the submariner but not the datejust.

Any opinions/input would be appreciated. She's waiting for me response and don't know what to do!!

The watch is stainless steel with a black face.

I like the strap, but I would get it in black. Just my opinion. If you like it is all that matters.

You are in good hands with Jeanna

.......she does quality work. She made me a nice Black alligator strap with white stiching for my Tudor Big Block Chronograph.
I think it most important YOU like it and not what others think about it!
