X2 And will add even when worn it will do no harm to give watch a full wind say once or twice a week.

I wind first, then set. This way, you can get the time to the exact second.

If you set the time first, THEN wind it. You may end up a few seconds slow.

Along the same lines, when you set the time, do you turn the crown quickly or slowly? I feel like with so many moving parts it should be wound slowly.

I wind, set, then wind more. I like turning that crown! There's just something satisfying about winding a watch.

One turn per minute.

A Rolex is pretty fragile.

I also wind first and then set the time. As for winding it too fast, at my age doing anything too fast (if at all) is no longer a concern.

wind then set, if set then wind, by the time the watch starts to run, its usually a few seconds behind, i like to keep track of how many seconds gain/loss
