Is a 8 million serial number correct for a GMT 1675? |

Yes if you add a zero. A 16750 would have a case number in the 8 mils.

No, at least I have never seen one. By serial number 8XXXXXX, production was well in to the GMT model 16750 which began with the 6XXXXXX serial numbers. I don't believe I have seen any GMT 1675's in the 6XXXXXX range either. Maybe Mike will be along soon and give his take also.

8million will unless it was a replacement case for a 1675 be the later 16750 model with a different (quickset date) 3075 movement rather than the 1575 movement found in the 1675 model.
The 16750 is not a bad watch at all, I gave mine to my brother about 8 years ago and according to him, it hasn't missed a beat, and he lives in tropical Malaysia.
