Pretty sure they will ship to you. Very high quality goods. I have one of their business bags and I highly recommend them. |

Bags look nice but not sure if they are dressy enough for what you're looking for.

Saddleback gets another nod here. I have a wallet, but if needed a bag they would be my go to.

Lol, When I looked further into your choices I realized you require something smaller and "business" like. When I hear messenger bag, as a city guy I understand...timbuk2, chrome, etc. What guys on bikes wear on their backs to get the job done.
You're probably better with Saddleback. |

Another vote for Louis Vuitton. I have been carrying one of their canvas messenger bags for years. During my travels, it has survived rain, snow, ice and sun and still looks great.

I have to say I'm in the camp that would never use a messenger bag... I use a leather or canvas backpack for choice or a leather attaché case when I'm suited and booted.
However, if you are set on your quest for a messenger bag, PLEASE, remember the rules...!

Thanks for the Saddleback suggestions.Had a look at their site and their products look great !
Louis Vuitton ...visited the boutique twice in Jo'burg and never again. I found the staff very unfriendly and unhelpful.Out of principle, I wont go LV. |

I have a couple Saddleback briefcases, they are made with excellent quality, but they are rather heavy and a little clunky. I find myself using my Filson 256 the most of any bag/brief that I own. It is classic, simple and rugged.

If you are not wanting one that is all leather, I just picked up a weekender back from Blue Claw Co ( http://www.blueclawco.com/ ) and am pretty impressed. I picked up one from their classic collection, but their urban collection (under the shop tab) has more messenger style bags. I liked this option because I could get matching pieces easily, they were not cheap, but not horribly expensive, and are built to last.

I have a Tumi Alpha Small Flap Crossbody in black and love it.
http://www.tumi.com/product/index.js...ndSrc=paramNav I carry it whenever I travel on holiday out of the U.S. I know it will hold my iPad.

For what it's worth I've bought from saddleback and it was delivered to the uk within the week. I paid with my debit card and my bank sorted out the £-$ conversion.
Obviously the cost of the postage and then the import duty turners a very reasonably priced item into a fairly expensive one but their products are worth it.

I heard Brooks, as in Brooks Saddles, makes a great messenger bag. There is a link: http://www.brooksengland.com/catalogue-and-shop/bags/
