Rolex Submariner Watch
Seller lucasvanlaar
Rolex Submariner watch blue face. Received as a gift and rarely used. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On 04-Apr-13 at 14:52:19 AEDST, seller added the following information: I have had a number of enquires as to whether it is an authentic Rolex or not. The following is the response I have given those enquiries so I thought I'd better post this into the listing for any others who may ask: Hi Buyer XYZ, Yes, it is a nice colour watch. No, the box and papers belong to another watch (just happened to get into the edge of the pics). As I noted in the listing it was a gift. I received it 3 years ago from a business colleague at Dimension Data. His boss had one too given by the company for a successful year, said it was worth over $7500? I am not sure whether it is an excellent reproduction or a real one. I am not a watch expert. Suspect the former given there were no warranty papers etc.. In answer to your other question the luminousity in the dark is low and short lived. Nevertheless, still a beautiful watch which seems to have the ticks in the box to identify a Rolex viz: Solid construction (feel the weight - unlike Bali copies); date lens to spec; Logo on bezel; Serial number lasered on interior rim of case/bezel; winder has precise logo etc.. If I were 100% certain it was a certified Rolex the price would be significantly higher. I own several high quality watches and simply never wear this one. Hence the sale, as I tidy up my affairs before moving house. Regards, http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rolex-Sub...item1e792a9da3 |
