Ulysse Nardin Blue Wave Limited edition

One of my friend would like to sale one of his collection, Ulysse Nardin Blue Wave for $4000. It is almost like brand new condition. I never own Ulysse Nardin. Therefore, my knowledge about this watch is so minimal. What do you think about this price?

Thanks

Well here is a review of the Blue wave http://www.tp178.com/mh/un_wave/un_wave.html and here is a comparison with the blue max http://www.tp178.com/mh/un_wave/un_wave.html. Personally i think that it is a great watch i like the look of the watch. Well from the research that i did the retail price is around 7300$ so i think that 4000$ is a great deal. I think that the value of the watch will go up as time passes as there are only 350 watches made since it's a limited edition.

Ulysse Nardin makes beautiful watches. Although I haven't seen the condition, I would guess the price is OK. Good luck.

UN make great watches. I just bought this one over Christmas:

They are quality watches and service is excellent. I almost bought Blue Wave Limited Edition, but settled on this one. I believe the retail price was over $8,000, so I would think the asking price is pretty good. You won't regret getting this if you decide to.

That is a good price. I have been looking for a non-Rolex diver and UN Marine Maxi impressed me. The best thing about it is the low-profile. People know Rolex, Omega and Tag. This is one of those quiet watches that will bring you delight w/o other people feeling jealous (if you don't make 6 figures per year and wear a Rolex to the office, people will talk about you, trust me).
