Shocking. Positively shocking...
...how much I'm enjoying the Maratac MI-6 Zulu on my Submariner.
As much as I can appreciate Daniel Craig's turn as 007 with his Omega Planet Ocean, there's something about the classic Bond films, particularly "Goldfinger" and "Thunderball", where Sean Connery wore a Submariner on a similar strap... The new strap is comfortable and gives my Sub that old school Bond look. It was also much cheaper than an Aston Martin DB-5.. |

Not a strap guy but if I was it would be either plain black or that one, looks great, very old school!

That is a nice strap. I got mine from Corvis watch co. That claimed to locate the original colors. Mine is a NATO.

Wore my 14060M on a NATO; traded it and this thread makes me miss it already, and it's barely been a week!
Nice rig you got there.

Thanks for all your comments...
As for being a total purist, I did have to draw the line at a 20mm width...the 18mm, while "Goldfinger" correct, is not for me...at least not with the 14060M. Now, if I had the "Goldfinger" correct reference Sub, that might be a different story. Ciao! |
