Could be to do with what your wearing & your manner but I have noticed when "dressing down" I have been treated differently and when entering the store have been guided towards cheaper brands.

Now when I go in dressed down with long sleeves. Soon as I roll my sleeves up I am offered a seat, a coffee & what selection would I like brought to me.

Shouldn't be the way but I guess they will always go off first impression & judge you straight away.

Oh how their attitude changes when they see what you already own.
