spring bar pin movement - can i bring to any AD?

hello.

i want to move the springbar pin to the last hole since i want it to loosen up a bit.

i dont have the tools to do that and i tried it with those small eye class screw driver - but unable to do it without scratching it.

watch is still under warranty.

Is it a courtesy or a must for AD to help me with this? (Eg. can i just take it to ANY AD and do it? Or only big shops like, Tourneau?)

Thanks.

Any adjustments that a Dealer makes are courtesy, or they may charge since they are a business.... (I believe that most will not charge for such a small service)

Having your watch adjusted to fit your wrist is not a warranty issue.. A warranty is for a manufacturing defect; it is not for a bracelet adjustment, normal wear and tear or accidents..

Do it yourself, for it's better to have you scratch it than a fumblebutt at the Ad.

Just use a tooth pick or something similar it really is a very very simple job cannot see any need in going to any third party to do it.

Can understand not wanting to do any damage to a watch that has cost a lot of money, so if in any doubt, go to an expert.

I always use a toothpick to adjust mine. One side pushed in, a little wiggle until the pin pops up in the desired hole, then do the other side. Simple adjustment.

Just walk into any AD, ask to try on a gold piece, then say "Oh, by the way, can you adjust this for me?"
