I see different people complaining/commenting about the accuracy of their watch. Many seem to be within the COSC standards. How accurate is acceptable for you? A few seconds a day, a few minutes a month? If you NEED true accuracy, aren't there many better watches for true accuracy? I figure I reset the date at month-end, I can reset the time as well...

Agreed. I am most happy with the accuracy of all of my Rollies. They all fall well within COSC standards, and correcting any minor drift is a piece of cake!

As anal as I am, it is good to know that it is accurate to circa +1 second a day.

30 sec + or -/month is enough for me, and wihtin that, is my rollies still after 30 and 17 years of wear.....

I want pretty good accuracy, but as a matter of habit sometime in the morning I normally open the Accurist website and set it exactly. Depending on how long since its been worn, I'm normally correcting a +/- 40 secs error.

I set a watch every time I wear it so it doesn't really matter in practical terms. Of course, I want the best possible accuracy a manual timepiece can provide.

Err buddies...when it matters with the Rolex watches' ability to keep accurate time... which Orchi might wear differently on certain days depending on mood swing(middle aged crisis?

)...Orchi is very particular.

So...as a pre-requisite of the Rolexes which Orchi might wear on the wrist...Orchi would have them adjusted to be running at +5 to +10 minutes or so quicker...habitually.

That habit of Orchi...has been proven to be quite fruitful to say the least about the accuracy of the Rolex which Orchi wears...err n that being...Orchi was hardly ever late for any appointments...
