Them I look to the next tweet, and it is an article about how the new Breitling Emergency II is the first watch with a personal locator beacon.

I guess the original Emergency does not count.

Full of fail, they are.

If you’ve been gaining 30 minutes to several hours on your new Rolex every day, it likely just needs to be wound.

Yeah, manual winding. That'll fix 'er!

This is the worst thing I've read from a watch site. They should be ashamed.

Not quite sure what to say. I hope he's not getting paid for his advice.

Why not just leave it with the watchmaker and visit it on weekends.

Serviced annually? Seems excessive.

Well he did get one thing almost right, but he was mostly talking through where the sun don't shine. It will do no harm even if worn,to give a full manual wind once or twice a week, and today most crown related Rolex problems are simply down to the winding crown not being used enough.

Poking around that C&C website gave me the impression of a college dorm project. They appear to be Atlanta-based in one of the jewelry/watch/financial bldgs. in Buckhead district.

Bad blog aside I'm wary of a "front operation" - they filed with our Secretary of State as a LLC two months ago. Didn't name their principal officers but gave an address, and their legal agent is a corp. services co. https://cgov.sos.state.ga.us/Account...tityId=4728415

The unnamed principal's address is a holding company that owns pawnbrokers. http://www.phcofmissouri.com/OurStores.html

Nothing wrong in that but the C&C website says completely different mission. Just sharing in the spirit of communication since future readers may consider them.

And they pulled the winding lesson. Up now is a nice, safe history of the HEV copied from Wikipedia.
