Visit to the Audemars Piguet Museum. An Unforgettable Experience>>>>>>>>

As many of you know, a few weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit the AP Museum in Le Brassus. Here are some pictures of that unforgettable day and the rest of the story and more pictures are here.

We started our journey by driving from Zürich to Le Brassus. I switched watches a few times to send out a few tweets while on our way to Audemars Piguet. Finally we arrived at the Vallée de Joux. After admiring the landscape we made it to the manufacture and then to the museum. What a day!

Great story Hal
Trip of a lifetime for sure

Seeing your pics & reading your story has got me all excited again & looking forward to my own visit to AP even more. I should hopefully be there either July or September just need to sort out work commitments & let AP know when i can get there

I would love that clock think they would miss it

Glad you enjoyed it. When you go there you'll understand all that I felt while getting there. Enjoy that 15300 of yours. Wearing mine as I type.

Regards,

Hal

Nice pics! Thanks!

Why did you bring so many watches? Do they bless them at the museum or something?!

I always travel with multiple pieces when I'm gone for a long time. Plus as the hardcore longtime AP collector that I am, I wanted to show my discontinued pieces (Jumbo 5402SA and my ROO 25721ST) to the team at the museum and get some archive info on them. They were actually surprised to see my two-tone Jumbo in such great condition. They confirmed how rare it is as only 951 were ever made. Actually, they don't even have one in their collection.

It was also neat to take a picture of my APs right at the manufacture where they all came from. Might seem silly to some of you but I have my own reasons for it. Unfortunately too personal to share online. Perhaps over drinks next time I'm in NYC.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Watches are the new currency!

I don't think bringing them was silly. It was a rhetorical question.
