Real dial on my 1016?
Hi all,
I just purchased a 1964 Explorer I ref 1016 from a reputable dealer in NYC. Case, movement and other items look good, but I am having doubts on whether the dial is correct. The hour markings still glow quite a bit even though the hands do not, and the paint on the numerals look off. Also the crown seems to be the "frog" version, with the center point extended, and I think at 1964 they should all be the same size. Anyone have an opinion? Am I just being paranoid? Thanks |

Sorry, any thoughts from anyone? Have had some responses on another forum indicating it looks ok, still not convinced though...
