Welcome to TRF!
It is very hard to verify a Rolex without seeing it. If you could take some nice and sharp pics of it, with a couple of macros, too, it would be helpful.

Apart of that I never heard about a model 5561, the manufacture date may be derived from the serial number. For a value estimation you should post good pictures.
Bye Marko

So it should be a 1959 Oyster Perpetual.
As this reference is not very common it is not probalbe that you have a fake... The value in good condition will be around $ 1500.- I think. If it has a rarer dial, lice honeycomb in excellent condition with matching hands this could add 500.- Bye Marko

Ok Guys, Here Are The Pix As Well As An Air-king. Back Ref 5506, Mov't 1530, Case Ref 344022. Case Is 40 Microns Laminated. As You Can See, Both Are In Great Cond'tn. Although I Figured The Medium Size One Would Be Dated 1946-7. I Could Be Wrong Of Course!! But Thanks Anyway. Plse Send Me Yr Comments.

The medium sized (at that time it was regular mens size!) is definitely as the caseback states from 1958. Remember that Rolex restet the serials when reaching 1000000 in 1954!
The 5506 is realyy nice. I got a project 5506 with a rivited bracelet produced in UK, but it needs restauration and I'm collecting parts since 8 months... Bye Marko
