Icon4 Small Oakley Watch Case just seen on eBay (US) for $45.00 for those looking for one

Wanted to let folks know I just came across this Small Oakley Watch Vault on eBay for $45.00 Buy-It-Now:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OAKLEY-S...-/330927525711

Not as good as $20.00, better than $90.00.......check it out if it's what you want at a price you can live with.

Good luck!

If you happen to travel through O'hare, the Oakley store/kiosk has tons of these for MSRP. I bought two not that long ago. Could never imagine paying $45 let alone $90!

IIRC, from another thread on TRF, those are the large ones in the store.

Personally the large is an excellent sized case. I always wrap my watches for two reasons.
1-micro cloth to wipe her down and remove any oils etc.
2-micro cloth just holds the watch stable so as not to shake around in the case.

I own both the large Oakley and the Casebud. They are actually the same size. Only difference is the exterior. Oakley has that fabric that has a checkered pattern and also the hump for lack of a better word inside is a tad larger. Otherwise they are identical and would recommend either one.
If you must have the Oakley label go for it. Just my two cents.

Aloha,

Tom

I managed to buy the large watch case from the Oakley outlet at Katy Mills in Houston a couple of weeks ago. I picked up 2 of those. Very happy with it.

Great cases but would never pay over retail.
I've got large and small - perfect for travel.

I actually ordered the casebudi a couple weeks back and I'm returning it, the watch moves around too much in there for me. While I have yet to hold an Oakley Watch Case (small) in person, my hope is that it 'holds' the watch a little tighter...

The watches move around...even in the small case. You need to wrap them up as said previously.

The cases are not meant for traveller se - that's why they're called "storage" cases. However, many folks ( including me) do toss them in a bag when on the go.

If you go on ebay & search rolex pouches you will find some black & green ones that are sold by AceTimer. I've bought 5 black ones for $22.00 they work just fine although not good as genuine rolex pouches but great for storing your watch & traveling.

would rather chew glass then pay $45 for a $20 item. would never buy a casebudi either, JMHO. They pop up on e-bay from time to time but usually at a crazy markup. They come back in stock sporadically on the Oakley site, just be patient.

I just tried to order one - will not ship to Switzerland. Wassup with that? Oh well, back to waiting for Oakley (been waiting since January, when I tried to order one). Bunch of shite, if you ask me.

I've got the case budi and it seems to be of acceptable quality, but I've never had the vault, so I can't compare.

Very kind of you, thanks for the offer, which I may take you up on. I'd still like to try to see if I can get an Oakley one, but the CB might be a good alternative,
thanks again, friend

I've tried all my local Oakley shops, nada. If anyone over their summer travels finds any grab em, they'll go quick here and you'll be a hero! I'll take 2 or 3 BTW...

I just grabbed 3 large Oakley vaults at the store in the Lenox mall in Atlanta. They were like 21.70 including tax each. If anyone wants to pay me that plus shipping I'll happily disperse these into the works. Vincent I'll hold one for you if you want.

The guy at the counter actually said, "yeah you know guys from those Rolex forums just come in and here and take 'em. Like one guy got ten and I'm like you actually have ten Rolexes? He said nah I have some others." I didn't even mention Rolexes or the forum to him. Guess we're a notorious bunch!
