South of France Vacation and Monaco GrandPrix.

Took this picture of my Stick Dial GMT2 Coke in Cannes in front of the Beach, amazing backdrop and cant stop looking at the bezel in the sun.

The watch is a thing of beauty, so far I have had a peaceful vacation and its quiet slow after the heavy action and partying in the MonteCarlo GrandPrix last weekend. I was aboard a 190ft yacht and got to have a great time socialising and cheering for Team AMG Petronas which came 1st & 4th.

I was on board a 190ft yacht and was invited by a friend of mine, had great guests on board which was nice to hang out with and watch the race.

Will post more pictures once I get a faster internet connection, its dreadful here.

These might do for now,

On the way back after the GrandPrix spotted this beautiful Mclaren F1, this is the second time I see a F1 and the last time I got to see one was 14 years ago in their old showroom in London.

Day 2 qualifications, after getting Pole position decided to jump in the Jacuzzi and enjoy life under the sun.

Quiet chilly that day so it was nice to jump in.

Like every high profile event, you tend to see some banging chicks and gold diggers. Nice point of view prior to go on boat a tender to the Yacht in Port Hercule.

Standing just outside the exit of the Paddock area, prior the race in 30 minutes. what an event, really enjoyed the sights and sounds of Monaco and the sound of the engine bouncing off the walls.

Team RedBull leaving, this was shot with a high shutter speed with my Sony RX100 which I do highly recommend as a capable small DSLR replacement camera that is a size of a box of Cigarettes.

Haha, love the Pepsi....and how could one mistaken those Louis Vuitton deck shoes

I saw the race on TV. It was an interesting race, but to be there would be an amazing experience.

I agree the Sony RX100 is a great little camera

QUICK pic via Sony RX100, you guys should see how fast they were exiting glad that I have a camera that I can adjust the shutter speed to take these pics.

After the race go to see the cars unclose, its funny that 2 weeks after the race these paddocks become cafe's and walking area for tourists and sell ice cream, crepe and soft drinks.

Lots of people flock to see the race, the gem is whats after the race its party crazy here at the clubs, yachts, yacht club and lounges

The IceMan is not to cold today, complaining to one about the race.

The Sound is music to my ears

Left Cannes at 8am and got me some ice cream for breakfast, quick dash of espresso and ice cream is the meal of choice prior to the race. Thankfully no traffic jams on the way and arrived at 9am

Beautiful Boat in the harbour

Cool Name for a Yacht

The Place is packed

The Quote of the day, "The Safety Car is out"

Delighted to hear you had a great time at the GP. It sure is an event to behold.

Quite disappointed to see the sexist nature of some of the posts however. I hope our female forum members are not made uncomfortable by them. I had expected better.
