What do you need to have done with your watch?
My wife's Datejust was running a bit erratically not that long ago and I took it into the Sydney RSC. I left it with them as they said the watchmaker needed to look at it after the movement had stopped. I dropped it off on a Friday and picked it up the very next Wednesday. They demagnetised it and the watch has been running "perfectly" since. Maybe it's a different story if your watch needs a full service? |

Thanks Guys. As far as I know Nothing is wrong with it! It was purchased in 2005 116613 Sub Oyster Pep. Exactly as you see in my Avitar. It just has not been serviced yet.

Call J Farren-Price. Rolex AD with their own watchmaker, as I understand.
I also use Thomas Czibula of Expert Watch Repair. |

I put my Tudor Prince in middle of last year at Sydney RSC and was quoted 3 months by them for service, it was ready to go at 2 months to the day, so I think they take the under promise and over deliver method, they do a good job but are neither cheap (no RSC are) or fast. I bought my SUB at Mansors in Auckland, they were very impressive and are the RSC for NZ, I am guessing they would be cheaper and quicker.

Okay. Now if I go to J Farren. Do I get any Garuentee and or if I go to rolex? Does servicing out side the official Rolex centre effect my watches value?
