Damaged Sub dial
I have got 168000 Submariner (R serial) which has some kind of blister/pimple on the dial paint. In addition they are white fungi like patches. I have opened the case back and no signs of damage by water. Appreciate comments on what is the cause of this. Thanks everyone.

Moisture 100%. It can be very small amount to make such a "damage"
I see on pictures that your watch looks more gray than black, so that means that cristal is fogy from inside. If you can open and take watch out, that would be great. Open watch, take mechanisem with dial out, leave(mechanisem and dial) for aprox 1 day to "dry", clean cristaly from inside and close the watch. It would be super if you change all the seals, becouse somewhere is leaking... |

Gotta agree with the moisture damage posts, at some time or another there was moisture getting in there, keep us posted on your outcome.

Thank you, its been a great help. I'm not capable of taking out anything as suggested so i will need to take it to the facility and let them do it. Hopefully it will be fine after that.

Is that the original dial?
Curious, Did that model have the white gold surrounds when new?

i wonder what a new dial costs at service, i'm sure its alot. Dial +service will probably be half the value of the watch
