New Rolex owner with a question!
I've just acquired my first Rolex - an original-style Explorer, 2010: http://www.rolex.com/watches/explorer/m214270-0001.html
I have a question regarding crown/stem operation. When my crown is in Position 1 (winding position), the crown doesn't always pull out to Position 2. I sometimes seem to have to rotate the crown a little before it will pull out to Position 2, or I have to push the crown back flush with the case before I can pull out to Position 2. It doesn't happen every time - just occasionally. Is this normal? Many thanks in advance for your help. |

Well, that's a huge relief. And that was fast!
And thanks for the welcome! Just out of curiosity, why does this occur sometimes with the crown & stem? |

Happens to my other Rolex (and even Omega and others) as well, seems the gearing and release catch or something. Timekeeping is still spot-on on all my watches so it's normal.
Enjoy your Explorer 1. Great watch and I would love to have one in the future. And of course, Welcome to the Club. |
