New acquisition Datejust 16200!
Just received this pre-owned Datejust 16200 K serial in almost mint condition. It still had the green hologram on the back with the clear protective sticker over it. All hang tags and original box and paperwork. Winds smooth as silk! I paid a tad over $3200.
I have been without a Rolex since I sold my Yachtmaster last year. Didn't really regret selling it, but regretted no longer having a Rolex. I love Omega, but I felt a need to have a Rolex. The itch finally caught up to me and I bought the DJ that I have always loved with black dial and smooth bezel. The condition of this one made it a no brainer.

I have probably owned and flipped 5 Datejust, but have never had a smooth bezel. It is always the one I have wanted and never had. Looking to hang on to this one.

16200 with black dial, and indice hour markers is still one of the nicest models Rolex produced. Beautiful catch, Pete. Congrats

Congratulations – beautiful watch! When I came to pick my first Rolex, which was a gift from my parents, it had always been my intention to get the 16200. In the end, I went for a 16220 instead, because the engine turned bezel differentiated it more from my dad's Oysterdate. If only I were rich enough to have every variation of every Rolex I like…

Very nice Peter! The 16200 was my first Rolex timepiece and per recommendation from my collector friends was advised to take it on my first trip to Basel this year! mines and I hope yours is a keeper!

Yeah, I am going to keep this one. I just got back from a trusted jeweler who appraised it for insurance. They also pressure tested it (fine to 500'), put it on a timer (+ 1-2 sec a day) and they buffed the band. Looks like new now.
