The DSSD is not really a 'huge' watch so unless you're built like Justin Bieber, I don't think you'll have a problem. Walk into an AD and ask to try one on. They're usually more than willing to show you.

If you ARE in fact Justin Bieber, I apologise in advance!

It's hugely thick though. The diameter didn't bother me in the slightest. I would have bought one if not for the thickness.

Awesome, awesome watch though.

I tried on a DSSD, but no pictures. My wrist is under 6.5" and the watch was clearly too large. The end links overhung my wrist significantly and the height of the watch was around 50% of the height of the my wrist orthogonal to the flat portion. It looked terrible. My wife and all the salespeople at the shop agreed.

Also, I wouldn't say I'm built like the Bieber. You should really try it on before you even think about buying it. The DSSD is not a Rolex you can flip after a month and come out even.

This is true. It's somewhat large in lug to lug height, but it's seriously big in case thickness.

Hilarious. I have a Deepsea on a 7 1/4ish wrist, It's a heavy watch and somedays I think of flipping it but I'll just wear something else for a day or two and when I return to it BAM, in love again. Definitely try one on and if possible along side a SubC. If you have small wrists the SubC will give you that Deepsea feeling anyhow.
Good luck.

I'm not saying DSSD is small btw, just that I've seen some people with positively HUGE watches on lately. They must be +50mm easily and It looks really silly. You could go a lot worse than a DSSD on a 6.5in wrist.

I'm not into Huge watches at all... or Bieber for that matter

i think the dssd is perfect size for a 6.5 -7" wrist. once you get to 8" territory like mine it starts to look small... yeah its tall, but diam is not that big

Looking dead on they wear smaller like a 42/3mm due to the Ring Lock Text shrinking the dial so perfect for 7 inch wrists and over, but the top heaviness esp on the small bracelet, which really should be 22mm tapering to 20mm, made it unbalanced for me. This is one watch you must try on and see, pics are of no help.

You should seriously consider one of the IWC Pilot Chronographs. They go from fairly large (43mm with a large dial and long lugs) to really large (46mm, large dial, long lugs, and very thick on the Doppel model). If you like the style and are into big watches, it's hard to do better.

Just took this quick shot as a point of reference (since there's some general discussion of "what fits" regarding wrist size). My 16660 SD, wrist is about 8"
