Which watch to wear in Las Vegas
Tudor Pelagos, Platinum Yachtmaster, or DJII 116334, white stick dial.
Hey TRF, I'm heading down to Vegas for a week & having a bit of a dilemma as to which watch to wear. I'll be dressed in business casual to cargo shorts & t-shirts. I know Rolexes are a dime-a-dozen there so part of me was leaning towards the Pelagos but it is really hard to get under my shirt cuffs. I only want to wear one watch in case I decide to come back with another watch. (there's another dilemma & possible thread) |

The flashiest, most colorful watch that you have...in your case, DJII.

It's looking like the DJ2 should be the companion :)

You're kidding about the rain, right?
------ I'm going against the grain and cast my vote for the more sporty/unique YM. Dresses up well for dinner and much more at home at poolside every day. But as far as the Pelagos goes, I wouldn't worry about being in long sleeve shirts that often.

I've thought about it but with the lack of discounts on Rolex in Vegas it's not worth with the exchange rate, etc. I have thought about going the trusted seller route and having it shipped to my hotel. There's 1 watch available that I'm interested in but...having anxiety about wiring that much money to a stranger and all the possibilities that could go wrong; my bank said sometimes some wire transfers have taken 5-14 days to process, the watch not arriving before I leave Las Vegas, etc. The watch in question, my other grail watch, an AP 15400, black dial. I think my wife might actually kill me if I buy another watch. I was also looking at getting a supercharger for my truck & unfortunately, my $$$ isn't as endless as my list of "wants".

Honestly, noone in Vegas cares or knows what you wear on your wrist.
Except maybe the sales reps at watch stores. To answer your question, I would pick the DJII |

Yeah, like anywhere else really, no one knows or cares but I thought I'd canvas the TRF members and include them in the thought process.
