Ridiculous prices. I have no doubt they are good books as Ken said but those prices are ridiculous.
I'll put that money towards a watch thanks. All the information you need is online. Especially on this forum. |

The books are expensive because you are 100% sure that the information is reliable; the images are amazing and there is a hige work behing every single publication. Furthermore, the book itself is a collectible item. |

I own the same two books mentioned by the original poster. They are fantastic books and Georgia truly is a wonderful person to deal with. I will likely purchase more from their library in the future.

I've got several of the Mondani books, probably the most comprehensive titles available too, once seen up close you'll understand why the price is such.....quality doesn't come cheap & a simple watch can be bought for a few coins but we all love Rolex, owning THE book isn't any different
That said, I'd love the Daytona story but I can make better use of €980, any deals for TRF members Georgia ??

It includes all Rolexes in stainless steel in production and it is focused in the most important and rarest vintage models, such as: complicated rolexes underline panerai rolexes military rolexes change color dial personalized dial and much more. you can find all the info here: http://www.collectingwatches.com/en/...w-concept.html Unfortunately, only less than 15 copies are available and if you are interested, I will need to know it soon. Now we only take the reservation then the payment and delivery is in sept/october. |

The watches aren't cheap either.
This is great books and the good thing with the prices is not everyone have them. It's not cheap to be king of the hill. Giorgia is great to du business with, highly recommend IMO.

I think you must take into consideration that many are limited editions.
For example, the Steel book is a limited edition of only 599 examples. When you factor the costs of travel, hours of work procuring the best examples and shooting spectacular images + production costs, spread over only 599 books, you can appreciate the price better. I, for one, would say they are top of the mark - but saying "ridiculous" is an insult IMHO.

€350,- for a LE book is very expensive but not outrageous, €960 for a book is just madness.

These books do indeed look awesome, and I would love to get my hands on the sub book, but almost 800USD!!! I won't say it is ridiculous, but it is more than I want to/can/would spend on a book . . .
On another note, the pic of your sub with the sub book makes me incredibly jealous. |

I too recently received my signed copy of The Submariner Story (last week).........500 piece LTD edition.
Absolutely brilliant! No regrets. As I said in another post, if I divide the hours of entertainment by the cost over the next 12 months it's a bargain. Until you see it you don't realise how good it is. Bob. PS: Giorgia....... How many of the 500 do you have left? |

I know Giorgia has at least minus 2 of the 500 of the submariner books. Since Rolex Bob and myself are now proud owners of one of these incredible books!
Mahalo Nui Loa again Giorgia! You are such a wonderful person to talk! Aloha from Kauai. Tom |
