Saw all three blue subs at the AD today...

. . .the TT 116613, the YG 116618 and the WG 116619.

The TT and the YG have the new, deeper blue dial, which, for lack of a better word, looks much richer that that on the WG, which retains the "smurf" blue. The bezel insert on the TT and YG seems to match the new blue dial very well; in fact, I think it looks better, as in more substantial, than the bezel insert on the 16613.

Without doing a side-by-side, it's hard to say whether the dials of the new TT and YG are the same blue as on the 16613. It looks like it could be a tad lighter, but again, hard to say - those AD lights are pretty bright.

Finally, I think Rolex did a smart thing keeping the lighter blue on the WG - it actually seems to suit that watch better.

I've never been offered one at this AD; to be fair though, I've also never gotten to the point of flashing cash with them. I prefer the trusted sellers here.

Fair enough; however I suspect this AD does not permit photographing the stock.

The WG may just be a slow mover because of the price, you're not saying that the WG version will "NEVER" get the sunburst dial are you?

No, but according to the pics posted here from Basel, the WG sub is not getting it just yet.

Good to hear the new blue works as it looks great in the pics. As for the colour of the 16613, I saw 4 used models at a dealers and all four were different from purple to a lighter/darker blue and the sunburst effect was stronger on some than on others so there is no definitive blue on the 16613.
