Have had both, and the Explorer II in white it still here and my daily wearer. Outstanding watch, in terms of size and comfort. Not a fan of the maxi case of the Hulk and find the dial too small due to the bloated bezel although the dial colour is drop dead gorgeous. I reckon the next re-incarnation of the Hulk will be the one to have.

I like the white Exp2 but it doesn’t look right on the SS band, however, it looks great on strap and nato. The Hulk is growing on me by leaps and bounds.

I have the Explorer with white dial. Great everyday watch. The green on the hulk is a little limited to me. Good luck.

I swear this topic was discussed only days ago....
I have both. They are both great. The polar explorer II is a better daily/only watch. |

EXP 2, the Hulk is too green. Its OK for once and a while ware. Like for St. Patricks Day and watching the Riders.

Green for me. I have yet to find a color that does not go with the watch.

White Exp. II for casual daily wear. Black for more formal needs. I could see the 116610LV for a situatonal piece but would have a hard envisioning it as a daily watch. The color is gorgeous however.

I considered the same & wound up going with the Hulk. However, I potentially see an Explorer II in my future.

I use my Hulk as a daily wearer and love the green. The explorer is just too plain for me.

For me personally, I'd choose anything with a ceramic bezel insert over the Explorer II for daily use. Don't get me wrong, I loved owning the 216570, but that bezel is a such a scratch magnet. The thing is that scratches on any part of the bracelet don't bother me, but on the bezel they really do. I've had great luck with the ceramic bezel watches for everyday wear.

I agree, and if the Hulk is too green you are spoiled for choice in the ceramics... Like this one for instance, still with a splash of color (I may be biased): Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
