Subs on a NATO are cool but the NATO strap has been folded into the hipster culture. Hell, even JCrew sells NATOs. I still secretly wear mine but don't tell anyone

Uhm...how do you secretly wear one, do you put a sweatband over it or something? And what's a JCrew? is that Justin Bieber's entourage, or some kinda' boy band like the "Wrong Direction?"

Hands down J Crew is one of the finer clothes companies with a history of remaining decent and traditional (IMHO). I was in a J Crew outlet (insane sale at the time) in Leesburg VA and you're right, the sales guy had a watch on a NATO.

Lol I mean I wear a NATO from time to time but less frequently. JCrew makes nice clothing but the NATO has become standard equipment now. Lost its James Bond stealth
