Sub mod
I have a 6.5 wrist and really need only 4 links on the six o'clock side. The clasp on my sub has been driving me crazy. I need it centered!
I borrowed the clasp from my EXP 42 to see how it fit the band and me. The real question is how can I have the 1/2 link removed from the clap of the original Sub bracelet? |

If its the tuna (older) styled bracelet the half link is riveted on and cannot be removed. You will have to do what I did and remove a permanent link on the six side. On the 12 side you should have seven links including the half link. I've done it twice myself with positive results. I've followed the steps here:
http://www.minus4plus6.com/bracelet.htm If you're near an RSC, or an AD who won't poop their pants at your request you can have them do it. Every AD or watchmaker besides Rikki wouldn't do it. Rik did one and I did the other two myself when I learned how easy it is.

Thanks for the links.
The problem is the pinned link on the clasp is only a half link. If I remove a full permanent link I am left with 3 1/2. |
