I want to love it......but the prominent lettering on the bezel just turns me off. Try as I might, I just can't get past it.....

It certainly puts the YM-II in range - but I sure wish they had taken a page from the SS DJ playbook and used the WG bezel vs. blue ceramic.

It just doesn't for it me.

At that price I would take a preloved ROO or Aquanaut any day of the week.

Nice, very nice.

And I think it is possible to say you don't like something without referring to it in a derogatory manner.

Do not like the dial or bezel, not something I would wear.

even though i dont sail, i have no doubt i would own this piece...EXCEPT for the ridiculously large emblazoned Yachtmaster II script on the logo...and people complain about the inner writing on the DSSD? this is exponentially worse to me

Greatvlookingvwatch.

Love the blue YM as well. Have had two.

I realize it's my own issue, I just don't want to have a watch that says yachtmaster.

Rolex boutique on Michigan Ave in Chicago has SS Yachtmaster II in a display case. Tried it on, but wears a bit too big for me.
