Hi, my name is ~~~~~~
Hi, my name is Matt and I'm an obsessive watch wiper! I am constantly wiping my watch crystal clean, case sides, and bracelet. Nice to be here.
On a serious note, I would be careful doing this because some dust / dirt particles will actually SCRATCH your polished surfaces from being swiped across them. I love a shiny GMT2c!

I like to keep my omega clean and nice, the Rolex, however is a different story. The 5500 I wear was made in the same month and year I was born, confirmed by Rolex Geneva (it's amazing what a hand-written letter will get you)
The AD who sold it, serviced and said they did no polishing on it. Doesn't mean a hill of beans but it looks like a watch that was used occasionally for all those years. When I look at it, it reminds me of happy times. We both have battle scars, some made by me, some not. I wouldn't have it any other way.

You can buy small packs of baby wipes and a microfiber to clean on the road... not that I do.

I thought I was the only one obsessed with a clean watch - thanks for the thread - makes me feel a bit more normal.
