Not that easy, but there should be tens of thousands of mint and virtually like new 16710 (any bezel color) out there.
Just a quick search on eBay for "Rolex GMT" brings up over 10 pages of ads. These aren't rare, despite what some overzealous sellers will claim. Even if Rolex made only 50,000 of these annually (I doubt it's that low), that would still put total production over 750,000. I wouldn't settle for any that's been buffed to death.

They can be found but it may require patients and a little more than you were planning on spending. Goodluck with your search and purchase

I'm not sure I would pay the premium if my intention was to wear it. If you plan on keeping it in a safe with all the stickers intact, then maybe...

I've seen two in ADs in the last 18 mos. But, as said earlier, many online.

I found my BNIB 16610LV (2011) and BNIB 16600 (2012) at an AD, with no discount because thery're discontinued models.
I was happy to pay the premium plus 13% tax here in Canada, since I plan to keep these two till the end of the road. I came close the selling the LV fortunately it did'nt work out, and never again. |
