Wish the Daytona had a date function to it.

Did you ever wish the Date function was on your Daytona? I have been looking at them and to be honest, this is the only reason I haven't pulled the triger on it. All my watches have this basic function. I do use this function regularly. :)

This Tudor makes me think it would look good on the Daytona.

Not me.

I can keep track of something that changes once every 24 hours.

Should add a moonphase, GMT, and annual calender too while they're at it

Nah, the Daytona is great as it is and a date function does not suit the watch.

Sorry

That little "hole" somewhere between the sub dials and the four o'clock position looks out of place, almost like a bad customization. At a glance I am sure it is not easy to read for some when in double digits.

Agree....to me, the Daytona is perfect as is.

If you must have a date on your watch, there are tons of other options

Not really, at first I thought I would miss the date but since I, like most of us, carry a smart phone I have the date right there. The Daytona is timeless (no pun intended) as it is.

Never had, never will. Its like asking for a GMT function on a Submariner.

Got to agree with the majority here. Besides, it makes a Tudor chrono that much more special.

Or a car, or a computer, or a tablet, or a calender, or any signage, or a Goodyear blimp, or another person, or a puppy.

I'll get a Daytona when I retire.

Until then, I like the ease of looking at my watch when I need to reference the date.

The Daytona is a great looking watch, but I'd definitely like a date function on it.

I think it would make the dial too busy. With three subdials, it looks great the way it is.

Sometimes I do feel that Rolex was a little wordy on the dial and could do with less.

Wow, some of you guys are a ruff crowd, must be purists... I can't blame you but to me the Daytona would be better if it had the date function. To each his own ;)

Somehow I have learned to live without the date function on my Daytona. I use my cell phone if needed.

Daytona would be much improved with a date function. MANY chronos have a date function on them and they're not considered "busy".
I love mine, but would love it MORE if it had a date on it.

Mike, how do you set the Chrono hand to the date?
