Daytona 116509

Learning about the Daytona's and liking them more and more after just getting rid of two Subs. My question is the 116509 Daytona black face, is this model WG only. The 28K- 30k price range is out of my budget.

I'm assuming the other Daytona's in the 10k price range are not WG.

I don't want or can't afford WG, but want the closest thing (look) I can get to model 116509. I love the black face with the red trim in the chronograph.

Any suggestions on how to go after this look without the $30 price tag. I don't mind a stainless steel band.

Thanks for any help and suggestions.

Best option is to buy the SS Daytona for 9-12k, then source a dial from the white gold model from one of our trusted sellers here on the forum.....the dial and hands will run another 1200-1500. Good luck!

If you look around, I think you can find a used 116509 used for lower $20's...speaking for myself, after trying both the SS & WG Daytona's on, it's not even close for me. WG is just simply the best...

Putting the dial you're talking about in a SS version is probably your best bet. This is what that would look like...
