Anyone ever sold a Rolex to Bob's Watches in Huntington CA?
Has anyone ever done business with Bob's Watches in Huntington Beach CA? My wife hardly ever wears her stainless/18kt Datejust with jubilee band and wants me to sell it..... I completed a questionnaire and a rep contacted me within 30 minutes and made me an offer.... It was the offer they had on their website and I refused.... when the rep realized I would not accept her price, she agreed to meet my price, upon inspection, which was $500 higher... ( I have the original box, all papers, receipts, booklets, wallet, etc.) They offered to send me a prepaid mailer to FedEx it at their cost and payment will be made by wire to my bank...... Just checking to see if anyone had any experience dealing with this company....

Never dealt with them but have not heard anything bad either....I'm sure some will come along with their expertise.

I spoke to them on a Sub I was selling (84' ND model) they lowballed me so I politely declined. I sold it on here for 2x the amount they offered (My father was original owner with B&P) and it was still a good deal for the buyer. That is just my experience however and if they are offering you a fair price I say it's worth considering.
Thanks, -Mike. |

Why don't you see if ay of the sellers here on TRF are interested, if Bob's thinks he can make money on I'm sure a Trusted TRF Seller can too...

I see several listed here for $4200-$5300 but don't see much activity on the listings...... Bob's "buy it" price is $3500.... I got them up to $4000.00.... I guess that is fair... will have to sleep on it......

Be Careful, When they have your watch in their hands it becomes harder for you but easier for them to negotiate. Good Luck.

I for sure would not for all the reasons listed. Put it on here and let the market dictate through negotiation
