My trip to the AD
No, I did not buy anything, so forget about seeing pictures (at least from me). However, while visiting another local AD (not my normal one), I was perusing the non-Rolex sections. I happened upon my next watch. A beautiful SS JLC Master Calender. Mark my words. This time, next year, it shall be mine!
Also spottted a YMII (in WG) and had to play with it. Will post a bit more about it in the Rollie forum. Gut reaction after seeing it in person - I like it! But my biggest shock was strolling over to the Pannies. I have tried them before and didn't care for them. However, this time, I put on a 164 and damn if it didn't look real snazzy on my wrist. I was shocked. Salesman (a great kid who is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all his brands) started chuckling at my surprise and proceeded to pull out a big honkin' box of straps and began to play with them on the PAM just to torment me. I might have to buy one some day. My world is turning upside down. Oh, and the Patek Phillipe 5396 is the most beautiful watch I have ever laid eyes on. Simply perfect! |

Scooby, I LOVE that JLC Master Calendar as well. I like it better than the Patek, even, tho I do love that 5396 Annual Calender.
